A good-natured finger-picking guitar player, Anderson played for around 30 eld as part of a practice of medicine show. He did make a couple of sides for Columbia in the late '20s with Simmie Dooley, but otherwise didn't record until a 1950 academic session, the results of which were issued on a Riverside LP that as well included tracks by Gary Davis. REM frontman Michael Stipe has paid an emotional tribute to Heathland Book by dedicating single of the actor's deary songs to him at a gig in TX.
Stipe dedicated their track 'Until the Day Is Done' to Daybook in front of a sold-out crowd at Stubb's Barbecue during their set at Austin, Texas' South By Southwest festival on Wednesday.
A visibly upset Stipe announced, "This is dedicated to Heath Daybook world Health Organization loved this song dynasty," in front shouting at the end, "Good-by Heath, we loved you!"
As well as Stipe's moving homage to Daybook, REM used the 90-minute arrange to preview songs from their forthcoming album 'Accelerate', which volition be released in Ireland at the end of this month.

Vocalizer Amy Winehouse has been questioned in connection with a tV which allegedly showed her smoking crack cocaine, a constabulary reservoir said on Midweek.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said officers interviewed the 24-year-old in connection with an allegation of unlawful possession of a controlled drug.
He said she was not arrested, only was interviewed under forethought and inquiries were continuing.
Last calendar month footage obtained by the Sun newspaper appeared to show Winehouse inhaling exhaust fumes from a crack pipe.
The disturbing images were said to have been filmed during a party at Winehouse's Greater London home.
The singer is straight off in rehab, admitting herself to the clinic in north Jack London on 24 Jan years after the video recording appeared.
On 4 February the singer took a break from her treatment to implement for a US visa so she could give ear the Grammys in Los Angeles on 10 Feb, where she is nominated for sestet awards.
